Disability & Community
- Do you need help with safety auditing and implementing change?
- Are you maintaining quality care in compliance with the NDIS roll out?
- Do you want to deliver more person centred initiatives to your clients?
The elderly and people living with a disability are among those that utilise the assistance of community care as an alternative to living in an institution or residential care. Disability and Community Care offers a range of services including help with housework, personal care, meals, social support and groups activities, nursing care, allied health and home maintenance. With the National Disability Insurance Scheme now coming into effect, it is preferred that carers can deliver more than one of these services to their clients. Therefore, workers must have the appropriate skills and knowledge to provide the best care to their clients whom wish to live comfortably.
We provide you with on-site expertise to allow you to implement your new quality or safety initiatives quickly and efficiently and allow you to focus on effectively delivering exceptional service to people with disabilities. Our relevant courses such as Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015), will teach you how to recognise healthy body systems, interpret and apply medical terminology appropriately and meet personal support needs.
