Dual Course Overview
This Dual Qualification Certificate III in Health Support Services (HLT33215) and Certificate III in Competitive Systems and Practices (MSS30316) is suited for staff working in food safety, cleaning, and or laundry. This course is designed to provide you with a wide range of skills to apply in a healthcare setting. This program will give you formal qualifications for the duties you are currently responsible for. During the course you will also be coached how to apply efficient processes and systems in your workplace through Lean principles. You will be taught how to identify waste, such as: over production including making more than what is required; ineffective use of space and or the unnecessary motion of people moving around their work area. You will learn how to apply 5S procedures and undertake a root cause analysis. You will gain knowledge in process improvement, how to change inefficient procedures and to work effectively in a team environment.
